Nothing says Winter like log fires, yoga with socks on and crisp winter walks, around a hidden lodge in the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside…

   

So that’s exactly we’re giving you! League Collective is multifunctional, ‘in for the long run’, a lifestyle that lives from the land and roams from the city to the sea and everywhere in between… And with all that, we need rest. Rest from the busy streets, the grind, the mind.

Come and join us for a long weekend of yoga, country walks, runs and fresh air with League Collective founder and yoga teacher, Lilly. On the 22-24th November, come back to the roots and relax in a tranquil space where it all began, and eat the most nutritious food you could ever imagine.

 

What to expect:

Surrounded by nature in the heart of North Yorkshire, we’re taking you on your great escape to the countryside, with food grown on the farm, luxury ensuite bedrooms and bathroom and log fires. Join us at Maidensworth Farm, on the 22-24th November, and set yourself up for Christmas.

    

These 3 days are your very own to ‘reset’ to your natural rhythm, to take stock, and give yourself some thinking time for the year ahead. We have a day of activities and relaxation planned for you, however you are also most welcome to stay in bed all day, or get away and explore the surrounding forests whenever you feel like it:

    

The day to day:

(we recommend that you get a late train up on Thursday evening after work, so you can settle into your room before Friday’s activities begin.)

8am Morning meditation

8:30 Vinyasa Yoga with Lilly

10:30 A filling breakfast/brunch

1:00pm A long and peaceful walk around the surrounding countryside

(teas coffees and snack with be provided throughout)

Plenty of down time to cosy up with a book by the fire, or a long bath in your luxury bedroom

5:30pm Forest Yoga and Yin with Lilly

7:00pm Delicious 3 course Vegetarian dinner prepared with love from fresh produce grown on the farm wherever possible.

Sunday evening will finish a little earlier so you get get back home in time, refreshed for your Monday morning.

Built up bit-by-bit from a cow shed to a luxury private lodge, every rug, wall, lamp, sofa, shower and dish has been well thought out, and created with the end experience in mind.

With accommodation for up to 18 people in 9 luxurious and different-styled rooms, your stay here is sure to please. Designed and created by Caroline and David, two brilliant designers (and chef!), each room has it’s own unique feel and theme. With never ending beds and nourishing rain showers, you will never want to leave…

 

Your teacher

Since practising yoga from the age of 16, Lilly trained in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Tbilisi, Georgia where she helped set up a Yoga Shala in 2012 and became a 200hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, specialising in Vinyasa Flow.

Teaching for 7 years and based in London, teaching weekly public, corporate and private lessons, she has continued to develop her knowledge of many different types of Yoga, completing the Ana Forrest’s Advanced teacher training in 2013, the triyoga Hot training with Kristen Campbell and Pregnancy Yoga Training with Nadia Narain in 2014. Alongside teaching classes, Lilly Also assists teachers in Training at Hotpod Yoga, imparting her knowledge for new teachers.

Lilly has since continued her study to specialise in Yoga for sports therapy after training with Jim Harrison in 2016 and In depth Moving Anatomy with Jambo Troung – 2017, followed by her Advanced Mandala and Shamanism 100hr training with the Yoga People in India earlier this year.

She is greatly influenced by teachings of Bhakti (devotional) Yoga from her continuing self-study with Aram Raffy. She is also forever grateful to her teachers further afield; Raymond Lim and Jaqueline Koay.

Lilly’s Classes are dynamic and energetic with not so much challenging postures as the continuous focus on breath a creating a constant flow of movement, bringing your full attention to your practice, leaving you to feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

Experienced with teaching Premier League footballers, the England Rugby team to JP Morgan boardrooms, shamanic dancing and pregnancy classes, Lilly has a wealth of experience to help you feel comfortable, from whichever direction you are approaching your yoga practice.

What will I need to pay for?

  • The Full cost per. This includes all food, boarding and any planned trips.
  • Any extra excursion you’d like to take in your free time.
  • Transport to the retreat.

Getting to Maidensworth Farm:

Maidensworth Farm is Hidden away in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty located between the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors National Park and the Vale of York.

Although secluded, the farm is easy to get to. The train from London to York takes only 1h 52mins, and you can take a taxi from York station straight to the farm in 45 minutes.
